Ray Dearie Earns #17 Verdict on Top Verdict’s Top 50 for 2022

Ray Dearie, Founding Attorney of the Dearie Law Group, earned the #17 verdict in 2022 per TopVerdict.com’s annual listing of the top 50 verdicts in Washington State.

The verdict comes from Weissinger vTingley, et al., a case Ray tried in King County Superior Court.  Ray represented Candice and Michael Weissinger, as well as their young son, after the family was struck by a drunk driver who drove his vehicle onto a Queen Anne sidewalk.  Mrs. Weissinger sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury as a result of the incident.  Mr. Weissinger and the Weissingers’ son sustained physical injuries as well.

After a three week trial, the jury returned a $2,424,205 verdict for the Weissingers.

Dearie Law Group Secures $21 Million Jury Verdict in TBI Case

On Thursday, August 24, 2023, a Pierce County jury returned a $21 million verdict in favor of Dearie Law Group client Cristina Anderson.  The jury’s verdict is in addition to an undisclosed seven-figure settlement with the City of Sumner that was reached prior to trial for alleged negligent roadway design.
