About The Dearie Law Group

The Dearie Law Group represents people who have been seriously injured in personal injury, wrongful death, sexual abuse, and medical malpractice cases involving corporate, government, and individual wrongdoers.

Known for our fierce determination to fight for justice, our reputation has been built on qualitative success, not volume. We limit ourselves to a small, select number of personal injury cases, which allows us to devote more attention to each individual client.

Since 2022, Ray Dearie and Drew Lombardi have earned their clients a number of notable jury verdicts and settlements, including:

  • A $21,000,000 jury verdict for a client involved in a car versus pedestrian crash in a marked crosswalk, resulting in a traumatic brain injury;
  • A $14.7 million jury verdict for a car accident victim who sustained a hip fracture and nerve injury;
  • A $13.1 million jury verdict for a slip and fall victim who fell on a City of Seattle sidewalk;
  • A $3,000,000 jury verdict for a child sexual abuse victim against DCYF;
  • A multi-million dollar policy limits settlement for an elderly trip and fall victim who fell over a strip mall curb;
  • A seven figure settlement for a client who sustained a traumatic brain injury after being assaulted by a bouncer at a local bar;
  • A policy limits settlement for an Eastern Washington car crash victim who sustained a concussion and tinnitus.

Hardworking, Trusted, & Experienced

Ray Dearie is the principal lawyer in the Dearie Law Group in Seattle. Born and raised in New York City, Ray found his way out West during and after college where he worked in some of our Nation’s glorious national parks, including Glacier Bay National Park in Alaska, Mount Rainier National Park, Death Valley National Park, and Yellowstone National Park. Through his westerly journeys, Ray received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Montana in 1997 (Law Review). Following law school, Ray clerked for Chief Judge Fred Scullin in United States District Court (New York). Following his clerkship, Ray moved to Seattle.

After moving to Seattle, Ray worked as a deputy prosecuting attorney for the Snohomish County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. Ray was named Prosecutor of the Year in 2002-2003. After leaving the Prosecutor’s Office, Ray began private practice as an insurance defense attorney. Gradually, Ray transitioned his practice away from defending corporations and insurance companies to representing plaintiffs, leading him to begin the Dearie Law Group.
