Ray Dearie has served as a prosecutor for the Snohomish County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, where he was named Prosecutor of the Year for 2002 and 2003. This means he’s had a lot of trial experience—and unlike many attorneys, he’s not afraid to go to trial. Ray also trained at big law firms, so he knows how they think, how they do business, and how to beat them.
In his earlier years, Ray worked as a federal law clerk for Chief Judge Frederick J. Scullin of the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York.
Ray is a member of the Federal Bar Association, King County Bar Association, Snohomish County Bar Association, Washington State Bar Association, Washington State Trial Lawyers Association and Montana State Bar Association.
Personal
Ray Dearie was born and raised in New York City. Before becoming a lawyer, he lived and worked in Yellowstone National Park for six years, and has never lost his love of the outdoors. He enjoys backpacking, fly fishing and Seattle Mariners baseball. Ray lives in Seattle with his wife and three young children.
